How to Get Your Furnace Ready for Winter

Last updated 5 months ago

As temperatures drop, Lincoln Electric Systems has a few tips for getting your furnace ready for winter.

Before turning your furnace on for the winter, have a HVAC technician come out and give it a tune up. The technician can clean and test your furnace to make sure it is operating at peak efficiency. Lincoln Electric Systems also suggests leaving your thermostat at sixty-degrees though each degree cooler saves 3 to 5 percent of your heating costs. Another cost-saving measure is the space heater, which can be moved from room to room as opposed to heating the entire house.

Residential Air Conditioning Service would be happy to come out and take a look at your furnace. If you live in the Houston area, then call us at (713) 266-2665.
